icon
Polyurethane

Polyurethane forms a seamless, flexible waterproof membrane that offers superior protection against water and UV damage. It cures quickly and adheres strongly for long-lasting durability.

icon
Polyurea

Polyurea is a fast-curing, flexible coating that forms a robust, waterproof barrier. Its quick application and strong adhesion make it ideal for durable protection across various surfaces.

icon
Elastomeric

Elastomeric coatings provide a flexible, waterproof layer that adapts to surface movements. They offer exceptional crack-bridging and UV resistance for durable, long-term protection.

icon
PVC Membrane

PVC membranes are robust, waterproof sheets that resist weather, chemicals, and UV rays. They are easy to install and provide long-lasting protection for roofs and surfaces.

icon
HDPE Membrane

HDPE membrane is a durable, flexible, and waterproof barrier widely used in construction for preventing water infiltration. It offers excellent chemical resistance and long-term protection in applications like roofing, foundations, and underground structures.

icon
EPDM Membrane

EPDM membrane is a versatile, rubber-like roofing material known for its exceptional durability and weather resistance. It's widely used for flat and low-slope roofs, offering excellent protection against UV rays, ozone, and extreme temperatures.

icon
GRP Lining

GRP lining is a robust and corrosion-resistant material used to line tanks, pipes, and other structures. It combines glass fibers with resin to provide a strong, durable, and maintenance-free surface that is highly resistant to chemicals and environmental conditions.

icon
APP Membrane

APP membrane is a highly durable and flexible roofing material known for its resistance to UV rays, weathering, and aging. It is used in flat and low-slope roofing systems to provide a strong, waterproof barrier that ensures long-term protection and performance.

icon
Crystalline

Crystalline waterproofing is a technology that uses materials with crystalline compounds to seal and protect concrete surfaces. It forms a permanent, waterproof barrier by reacting with moisture and enhancing the concrete’s ability to resist water ingress and damage over time.

CAUSES

Challenges and Practical Applications of Waterproofing Solutions

Water Entry Point – Below Ground
Problems
  • Ground water rises through bricks and concrete
  • Damages the internal walls>
  • Reduces strength of the structure
  • Impossible to treat after construction
Application Details
  • Apply two coats on the Footing, Masonry Wall & the DPC
  • Cover DPC in inverted U shape, 9 inches each on both sides & the top

Water Entry Point – Bathrooms, Kitchen, Water Tanks
Problems
  • These areas are exposed to water 365 days a year
  • Water seeps through tiles & causes leakage, leading to damp walls & peeling of paints in adjacent walls/ceilings

Water Entry Point – Roof, Parapet Walls
Problems
  • Roof is the most critical area of the house – continuously exposed to harsh weather conditions and foot traffic, which cause cracks
  • Water leaks through the cracks & causes dampness and damage to expensive interiors

Water Entry Point - Exterior Walls
Problems
  • Exterior walls face the harsh climate & rains through the year
  • This results into cracks through which water seeps-in and causes peeling of paints & damp patches on internal walls
Application Details

Integral Waterproofing

  • Use Dr.Fixit LW+ in every cement bag used in the plaster. Every 5 bags of cement should consume 1L of Dr.Fixit LW+

Surface Preparation

  • Clean the application surface with wire brush/water jet/buffing machine
  • Remove any loose plaster & fill the area with PMM using URP
  • Sprinkle water to make the surface in SSD condition

Layer Waterproofing

  • Apply one coat of Dr. Fixit Primeseal mixed with water in a ratio of 2:1. Leave the surface to dry for 6 hrs
  • Apply 1st coat of Dr. Fixit Raincoat with no dilution with brush/ roller/ spray gun. Allow to dry for 6 hrs
  • Apply 2nd coat of Raincoat perpendicular to the initial coat. Allow the coating to air cure for 7 days

Water Entry Point - Columns & Beams
Problems
  • Columns & Beams develop honeycombs and cracks over time
  • Water can seep through these gaps and cause rusting of bars
  • This will reduce the strength of house
